1. Start with a fresh base. For a long lasting effect, try our NYX eyeshadow base.
2. Apply eyeliner, keep it smooth and taper into the inside of your eye. Build darker at the outside edge of the eye. If you make a mistake or need to undo, just use a cotton tip to gently wipe away.
3. Using a smoky eyeshadow, dark brown or charcoal, add depth to the outside corner of your eye. Layer over the crease and drag this edge halfway to the brow bone. On the lower lid just blend a small amount along the bottom lash line. To smooth the colour and make sure it's blended well, use a soft brush or just tone down the colour slightly with your finger tip.
4. Now comes the SHIMMER. Try a light grey or a really sparkly shadow. Click here for our NYX Silver Palette. With the shimmer shadow highlight the inside of the eye and keep to the lid edge, close to the eyeliner. Dab a little silver just slightly under the eye in the corner area. To further open your eye, highlight the area just under the eyebrow. This will create a dramatic effect, perfect for night!
5. Dress with mascara! Easy.
Eyeliner Tips:
When applying the liquid liner, try to paint from the outside edge to the inside. This keeps the line smooth and even. Keep as close as you can to the lashes.
